My dad recently showed me some glow in the dark stains or marks on the inside of bark at night - interesting?

Does anybody know what these marks are? They kind of look like green splat marks from a paintball and they glow only in the night. My dad says its phosphorus but i think otherwise.

I am not sure but I do know that decaying trees sometimes glow at night.

sure sounds like phosphorus.

what do you think it is?

i couldn't find anything about glowing tree bark causes...
