My dad said its Bad for me to drive with the streering wheel down to far???

like ok he said i have to drive with it up..........he said if i put it down to far i cant swerve.......plus he said it will hit my knees and i said it doesnt, and he said oh well keep it up

can i put it down if i want 2???

it's not bad, but your father is right.

Its best to drive how you feel comfortable. If you are uncomfortable while its up you should put it down or youre more likely to get in an accident. Ive never heard of it having to be up. Except when air bags are involved. And if your hands are placed right it shouldnt matter where the steering wheel is. But he could very well be right. Get more advise, if your in school ask the drivers ed teacher? And maybe ask your dad to explain his reasoning.
