  1. In general - no.

You have to earn your veteran's benefits for yourself.

  2. If your not under 18 then no your mom if shes still with you can get free burial with your Dad if hes in a national cemetery and she might get his pension if she was married to him at time of death

  3. If he retired and you were under 18 at the time of his passing, you may be entitled to a small allotment.  If he just served and separated, no you have no entitlement.

  4. call the local american legion or veteran of foreign war posts. they are everywhere and ask for the adjutant. He can tell you what is available. If you are school age, there may be benefits available, or opportunities to be associated with the organization. There are many programs for military families. If you mean money, etc, you are not due for support, but may qualify for other things.

  5. As far as from the government, it depends on how long he served.

At any rate, a parent's service qualifies you to join USAA, which has a lot of benefits such as better rates on insurance than most, investment and banking services, and that kind of thing.  Worth looking at.

They are a "mutual company", and there aren't a lot of those left, and if you don't know what that means, find out. It makes a lot of difference.
