first off i'm a 16 year old guy and i don't see how this adds up. I've awaken several times only to find my dad staring at me. The weird thing is, after he realizes my awaking, he suddenly starts moving and exists out of my room. What the h**l do you call this? Should I buy a lock for my door and lock it every night?

  1. Have you ever asked him about it? maybe there's something to it, but as far as i can see, that's just creepy. If you sit him down and he says like "i don't do that" and stuff, just buy a lock.

  2. Buy a lock immediately. What the h**l is wrong with that dude? You might want to say something to your mom or even him

  3. he's probably just reminiscing on the younger years of your child hood.... but yr right that IS really creepy, u SHOULD buy a lock, i would.

  4. I'd be spraying mace in his eyes while I was asleep.  How wierd!

Girlfriend - ask him WHY!  "Dad, why on earth are you staring at me while I'm sleeping?  You need to know it is creepy and it makes me uncomfortable."  That's how you do it.  Make sure Mom is around so he'll be forced to acknowledge it and answer you.

  5. Maybe he just likes to watch his little boy looking angelic while he's sleeping. I mean if he's not doing anything innappropriate to you like touching, then I wouldn't worry about it. He's probably sad to see his little one growing up. If you ask him whats up, he'll probably give you a perfectly logical answer

  6. Eh bien, c'est bizarre

essayer de changer la porte de lui et voir ce qu'il fait

  7. Oh my goodness. Your dad has signs of a pedaphile. And the thing is its not even to girls. Its to guys. So like i guess he's g*y?

Have you talked to your mom about this? You should. And if you feel like you cant or she wouldnt believe you go to another relative, point is you need help from an adult because thats not normal....

He's not "just checking up on you"...Oh please your 16 thats bull so dont take that as a reason why....Seriously your dad could try something on you. (sexually or close to it) And as sick as it sounds, face reality. It happens!

    GOOD LUCK! =)

  8. Wow that's weird....definitely buy a lock for your door and call your dad out on what he's been doing. Especially if he starts getting upset with you for putting a lock on your door, then you really need to confront him.

  9. well i will say that may be you should start locking your door while asleep

  10. I would deff talk to your mom about it, or someone you can really trust. Have you ever felt the covers move? Is it across the room, like at a door, or is it right beside your bed? I think its just a little to much for it to be just love. I know from expierence that there are some really sick ppl out there, ones you would never expect. I have expierenced it by someone also. I would wake up and the cover would be moving, or I would feel something on my leg, and it be a hand. You really should look into it, I am not saying your dad is sick, but I have seen it before. ITS NOT RIGHT!!! I also think that getting a lock might make it worse, I think you need to talk to someone about it!!!

  11. Well he might be stareing because he is proud of you, that he can't believe how much you have grown and soon you will be an adult, or it could be a creepy reason. Anyway I think the best thing to do is talk to your father about this, ask him why, and ask him to stop.

  12. that's scary, weird, and strange

maybe he is pedophile and probably g*y

  13. Dunno what to ell you. I have a 10 year old son that when I say good nigh to him, I may watch him. Being a father, it is just calming to see your child peacefully sleeping. That said, I look at him for about 5 seconds, smile, give him a kiss on the forehead and I am off to bed.

In your case, you are 16, has this suddenly started happening? What type of peronality is your Father, calm, aggressive, active?

You may just want to ask him that he is doing and monitor him for a bit. If it gets too uncomfortable, lock your door.

  14. First confront his sick *** and ask him whats up....If the story seems shady then yes buy a lock and tell you momma sshe needs to know and warn other brothers and sisters and start asking about his past mabey he has some stuff you dont know about goodluck

  15. Almost how my childhood started heading down a sexual path, if you not interested lock door, tell someone, and make enough noise that he stops.  If not you may end up like me being a very "submissive" partner for a long long time

  16. yeah that is kind of creepy. have you talked to him about it? i say confront him and tell him how it bothers you.

he might just be worried about you though. some parents like to watch their kids as they sleep... he's probably trying to find a way to reach you.

  17. maybe he wants to talk to you, or he wants you to talk to him so he waits till your in bed then he gonnie wake you but you wake first so he goes off, ask him why he comes into your room. good luck.

  18. Maybe something is going on that you don't know about. Maybe something is going to happen to either you or your father soon. If that is the case, than he probably watches you sleep because you just wants to enjoy pondering over his baby boy for the lat time. Maybe he just cant believe your growing up so fast and wants to cherish you while your still in your youth. Either that or he is a perv.

  19. The next time it happens, ask him, dad what's up?

You don't know what is going through his mind. It sounds like he is having some sort of issue and he maybe trying to find the strenght to talk to you.

  20. There could only be two explanations for this:

    1. This world is a scary place and since your 16, you are right about the age where you will start doing ridiculously stupid things especially if you are driving. Because of this, he may feel comforted knowing you are in bed safe and sound and watching you makes him feel good about that.

    2. He is thinking about climbing in bed with you in which case you should lock your door.

    Here's a thought: ask him!

  21. its normal for a father to see a child sleep.. BUT its not normal the way he "suddenly starts moving and exists out of my room".. when that happens again/ as soon as you see him ask "hey, dad, is there something i can help you with?" or "do you need something?" if he still acts funny then you should ask another adult in the family.. like an aunt, uncle, cousin... some one you can trust.  it may be nothing or it may be something more serious.. How does he act through out the day.. when he is around you?

  22. your mom and him maybe havin issues with divorce and he is thinking of what he will be loosing.

  23. CREEPY.

I would freak out to wake up with anyone standing over me watching me.

    I wouldn't lock my door,incase something happened..

but then again, that is extra weird.

    maybe try talking to him?

    i dont know!

i hope it turns out well!

    good luck man.

  24. Hum yeah thats weird bro I would buy it I mean how well do you get alone with your dad. If it was a girl I would think he wants to touch her or something a lot of perverted people out there but if you get alone with him then ask him why he does it. I mean hes your dad but you are not a baby anymore.

  25. Maybe you make noises while you sleep.

  26. you might want to be careful with that your dad might just do something to you if you know what I mean

  27. Sounds strange, just casually bring it up when you are talking one day ,ask why he does it and let him know it makes you uncomfortable and you wish he wouldn't do it ,then if he continues get a lock.

  28. That's really weird.. you should talk to your mom or something about this, I'd be too weirded out to talk to my dad about it. Maybe she has an answer as to why he's doing this.

  29. Talk to him about it. It sounds like he loves you and is happy to see you sleeping peacefully at home safe in bed. Maybe he's worried about you. Explain to him nicely that you need your privacy and it makes you uncomfortable to wake up and realize that you're not alone in your room. For parents, nothing brings greater joy and also greater worry than our children.

  30. Some people like to watch how others sleep because it can say a lot about you.  The expression on your face when you sleep can reflect how you feel.

  31. well usually wen parents do this its because they dnt get enough attention. He just loves you and he starres at you because he's checking ur features out.....Bro its just love in a wierd way.
