My dad wants me to scan the picture and VISA section of his passport and send it to a friend that's in another country. I didn't ask him why he wants to send it, but is there anything that can go wrong if I do send it to his friend? Could his friend misuse that information? Is it illegal?

  1. i have a problem with that, national security checks, etc, im shocked your dad asked you to this for him. i understand if he is not computer savvy and perhaps doesn't know how to scan[lol] i don't either...anyway he shouldn't have asked this of you, let him get someone else to do it...sounds to me like someone is planning a trip...using daddys info...and if they

can't use there own what kind of a person is this..certaintly

not an outstanding citizen where ever he comes from

this person has a rap sheet...and you should tell dad the scanner is broke...period..don't say you won't do it

why bother with that hassle...say its not working...somethings not KOSHER here...be careful

  2. Yes, his "friend" is going to try to enter the USA illegally with a fake visa.  It's very common.  He'll be caught.

Stay out of this.  Let your father do his own illegal work.

  3. Take your passport, unless it's too late and hide it. Tell your dad that you will report him if he persists in trying to break federal immigration law.

I commend you for questioning your fathers plans and I'm sorry you have been placed in the middle of this.

Good luck, do the right thing.
