My dad won't let me have friends over!?

My dad is very homophobic and against g*y people. One of my friends happen to be g*y and I am very good friends with him. I am straight but my dad won't let him come over to my house or let me hang out with him at all. My dad even said "people like him shouldn't be around us". I am extremely liberal so this really set me off. He also said that my friend might turn me g*y. How is that even possible!?!? What do I do about this?

meet w your friends at the coffee-shop/tell Dad it's more comfortable

there more room and he needs his own privacy,you wouldn't think of

imposing on him all the time

Unfortunately there's not much you can do.  It's your dad's house. Even though that is really unreasonable, sometimes you just can't get through to some people.

Just continue to be the guy's friend and hang out other places with him.  Maybe educate your dad on g**s.  But like i said, sometimes it doesn't work no matter what you do.
