My dads birthday gift?

my dad is turning 49 and i'm not really sure what to get him. he's really into golf and is a really big fan of tiger woods, i was thinking of getting him a tiger woods book or a book on golf, but i dont really think he'd be that happy with something like that. will you please give me an idea on what to do? :]

It seams that you and your dad have a fairly close relationship or you would not be putting this much thought into his gift. The best gift I could receive from my children is their time, love and friendship. Set up a tee time and take your dad for a round. We are very particular on the equiptment and certificates are non personal. Go play a round with dad, regardless of your level of play. You may whip dad or have some very horrible shots, either way it will make for long lasting memories that dad will not soon forget. I get the opportunity to take my children to our local club very often, and those are my most memorable rounds of golf, even though I can not tell you how I played or what I shot, I can always remember the conversations I have with my children.

When he's not around sneak a look inside his golf back and see what type of golf balls he has.  Probably there'll be a few different brands (everybody finds lost balls on the course) but there should be one brand more common in the bag than others.  Go to your local sporting goods/golf shop and buy him a dozen of those balls.

How about a great gift certificate from where he likes to golf alot.   Men always like new golf shirts, golf balls - or if you want to give him a really special gift - make him something that he can enjoy - make a collage with photos of you, special events you've shared, or even plan a special dad and you dinner for one night and take him out to dinner.

try an autoqraph! im sure he would love it if not maybe a cute picture of qolf or qolfs with his name on it or new pants or hat or shirt for qolf quhd luck
