My dads dad (i need advice!!)

hey , well the last time i saw my dads dad was in march. and i miss them ALOT!! and, im scared to ask my dad for thier phone # or email.. because he and his dad aren't close and he's weird about that kinda stuff. but i miss them ALOT!! plz help!!

You can start by asking your dad when his dad's birthday is.  That's a non-threatening way to approach the subject.  Tell him you'd like to send your grandfather a birthday card when the time comes around.  Once your dad tells you that, then you can ask him for their address.  Then... send your grandfather a letter!  In the letter, give him your email address, and ask him to send you an email.
