My d**n Compaq labtop turns

My d**n Compaq labtop turns on, shows the first screen with the compaq insignia but then shuts off. It turns back on automatically buuuuuuuut i guees it remembers that its fucked up n turnz back off. This proccess can go on for ever. Im about 2 take a stroll 2 the slaughter house.plz help
