As long as she is not bleeding a bunch she is fine, my son's fell off at 2 days and his belly button is beautiful. If she is bleeding a bunch call the on call doctor or advise nurse or find your way to a hospital

no its not too soon...my son's cord fell off when he was 5 days old...every baby is different.

my son's fell off at 7 days.  The doctors will tell you that it will fall off in  around5 to 10 days and you just have to wipe it out witha q-tip every night and make sure it isn't bleeding.

   Nope! My daughter's fell off at six days. It just means you took care of it well. If it looks good and not bleeding a lot she's fine.

Not at all. It will come of when it is ready. As long as you have not pulled it of, kept it damp or put creams on it. My boys came off at 7 days.

Nope, my daughter's fell off at 8 days old.  Now my son's..ha it didnt fall off til 2 days before he turned 3 weeks old (19 days old) .  Be glad it fell off at 8 days, cause it was really a pain to clean it, keep the diapers folded down, keep air to it and give him sponge baths, as not to get it wet until he was 3 weeks old.  I was beginning to think he was gonna have it forever! I even called the hospital when he was 2 weeks old freaking out cause he still had it and everything I had read said they should fall off between 3-14 days. They said it was normal as long as it wasnt red, p***y, had a bad smell or bleeding and that if it didnt fall off within the week take him to the doctor and they would snip it the rest of the way off.  Thank god it fell off cause I didnt want him to have to go through that.

My 1st was 8 days and my 2nd child was 6 days which scared me but I kept it clean and he was fine.

No thats fine. My 2nd child fell off when he was 4 days old. I just wiped with salt water to keep clean
