My daughter's hamster what to do?

My child has a hamster but only holds it once every month she loves it dearly and would cry if she got sick but i feel sorry for the hamster. Should i get rid of her hamster and make her mad or let it be?

  1. as long as the hamster has food and water and lots of room it will be fine.

    the more often she holds her hamster the more tame it will become.

    If you feel sorry for it, stuck some cardboard tubes in its cage and scatter some treats about for it to dig and find.

  2. As long as the cage is of adequete size the hamster should be fine. Unlike many other small pets, they do not require daily time out fo thier cages. You could encorage her hold it more or you can get one of those hamster balls for it to run around in. This often amuses small children. Just keep the cage clean and you should be good to go

  3. Hamster's don't need to be held or played with. They are great animals to play with, but as long as it is kept in a clean safe area, it will be okay.
