  1. Yes .  It will take much less paint if you did prime.


  2. probably not.  but you may have to do two coats depending on the quality of the paint you use.  good luck.

  3. You will be better off using primer.  Probably two coats.

  4. Always prime first.  You will use less paint and have no chance of a bleed through.

  5. if you aren't using a good quality paint then you'd be better off using a primer first.

    if you're using a good quality paint then you'll just need an extra coat.

    if this were red or orange or even a school bus yellow--I'd say get a primer regardless of the quality of the paint.   Banana yellow--not too bad.

  6. you dont have to prime its just going to take an extra coat of paint to cover the yellow
