My daughter is only 4 and she is acting very motherly to the other 2 children (2 & 3) Is this normal at such a young age

  6. Yes that is perfectly normal, girls that age usually play the mommy role if there are babies around or children younger than them and if not they will just act it out with baby dolls.  I know boys that are like that too.

  16. I was like that. When my baby cousins came over I acted like mummy to them. It's because she's realizing she isn't a baby anymore so she's trying to copy you and grow up. It's very natural and actually quite cute!!

  17. Very much so.... My grand daughter at 4 had a brand new baby brother.  Not only did she not want mother to do anything for him, she wanted to breast feed him too!
