I do not like these tours with tons of people. I also am looking at the financial aspect along with the fact the it will be a Mother and 14 year old daughter alone. We are visiting : Ponta Delgada, Azores; Cork, Ireland; Cornwall (Falmouth), England; Le Havre (Paris), France; Zeebrugge (Brussels), Belgium; Amsterdam, Holland . Does anybody have some suggestions at what to do and experience in these places. It is a once in a lifetime experience for both of us. Thank you so much in advance. Any help is so very appreciated.

  1. I don't know how long you are spending in each place. I also don't know what sort of things you are into.

Cork has some beautiful landscapes. Falmouth has Penndennis Castle. Are you actually going to Paris, there is so much to see there. The Eiffel Tower, the architecture, (rue de la fontaine), the cemeteries (be live me they are worth seeing) Amsterdam is just worth wandering around. Brussels, like Paris, so much to do and see, the art gallery is my fav place. Azores, again just the landscape is amazing.

  2. when you get on the ship, they will have a list of excersions that you can take. But have fun, sounds nice!

  3. I would NOT wait until I got onthe ship to book shore excursions, as this is a very popular sailing and unique itenerary. Whatever cruise line you are booked under you should be able to pre register for shore excursions on their website. You can also google each port of call, and use

www.cruisecritic.com under their ports of call for different shore excursions other than what the ship is offering.
