This was an average sized chicken leg bone, and she chewed it up and ate it! She seems to be fine, but it can't be good. I'm shocked that she would actually eat one!

  1. You can start by calling an advice nurse at your hospital. Or if it would make you feel better to ease your concerns take her to your local clinic or Urgent Care. Keep in mind you may need to go to the Emergency Room room to see a triage nurse so the know if she needs immediate care, home care or urgent care.

    Good luck.

  2. um if i was u i would take her to the doctor just to check out her throat and stuff and to see if he has any medicine to make it digest more. hope i help

  3. Well, did she choke??

    Apparently not.

She Might Have problems moving bowels.

You may have to take her to the doctor, but in an appointment because it isn't that serious to take her to the hospital or the ER.

Just so the doctor can look at her and give her some medication for her stool because it must be hard since the bone won't digest. She might also have some stomach pains.

I suggest Kristalose. So ask her Doctor. You can get it OTC because it is a Rx medication because it can cause Diarrhea.

  4. Call you doctor, see what he/she says. I think it depends on your child's age, etc. but I agree; this can't be good !!

  5. I would call her doctor. They most likely would want to do an ultrasound or CT Scan to make sure it does not puncture any of her internal organs.

  6. wow her teeth must be strong. You might want to call and ask the doctor for sure though.
