  1. POISON CONTROL.

Those things are styrofoam as far as I know, which is toxic in quantities such as these.

Get your kid to the hospital and get off the computer.

  2. Take her to the ER..... and why would she eat a pound of packing peanuts?

  3. one time i ate something and i started to throw up all night..she's going to get dehydrated.. and water right now won't do the trick..make sure someone stays with her when you do this.. go buy a lemonade gatorade and tell her to drink it from a straw... let her have small sips... get her into the car with a bucket that is clean and take her to the doctors office.. tell to keep on sipping gatorade..make sure it's the emergency room...when they call her in they'll ask her a couple of questions.. then to help the dehydration they'l put her in a room and they'll stick a needle into a vein in her arm.. water will start flowing through her...

  4. Allegric to penutss

  5. what 14 year old in their right mind would eat a pound of packing peanuts.?

  6. Just so you know... a "pound" of packing peanuts is more than would fit in a standard 13 gallon kitchen trash can. It would take her a long time to eat that many. Her stomach is just not that big. Even with water to break them down...I doubt she truely ate a pound.

You should take her to the hospital ASAP. They could be toxic.

  7. Packing peanuts? 0_o, arent those the things they put in boxes to ship stuff so they dont brake?

Why would she eat those?! 0_0

But, really, she NEEDS to be taken to the ER asap!!! Eating that would be very VERY very bad!!!

You need to go to the hospital right away!

    good luck.

  8. GO TO THE HOSPITAL, IDIOT.

  9. First, I'd call poison control to see if there's anything you need to do immediately. With that much styrofoam, you can't be sure it won't cause damage. Then I'd call your family doctor and see if they recommend going to the ER or if they want to see her.

After the urgent business is handled, I'd then start looking into what caused her to do this in the first place. Eating non-food items can is called pica, and it could be a evidence of a medical condition (or a condition in and of itself).

  10. I think you should get off the computer and do your homework!!

  11. How does she not fall down more?

    not very bright eh?

  12. its possible to be allergic to styrofoam, or whatever they're made of, but who in the right mind would eat a pound of packing peanuts?, esspeaically  14 year old?, but take her to ER

  13. Take her to the ER duh.

  14. wow, well why are you here. call a doctor of course. you may not know it but she is probably allergic. or The peanuts have been infected like the tomatoes. you better hurry, too. it could get worse

  15. LOL I'm cracking up at the person who said she must be allergic to peanuts!  That must be it!  If this is serious, take her to the ER!  And from now on, keep packing peanuts where she can't reach them!  Next time tell her to try the honey-roasted variety.  I've heard they're quite tasty!
