My daughter borrowed our car when she was stopped a wrta bus hit car door is she covered by ins?

As long as you gave her permission to borrow your car, she is covered under your insurance policy.  If she lives with you and does not have a policy of her own, or if she does not live with you, but borrows your car regularly, your insurance company may want to add her to your policy as a driver.  Otherwise, you are all set:-)
