  1. i have a sister named Ella she is 2 and she calls me marshmellow head.  So I think its a phase i`m hoping they`ll grow out of it!

    Good luck

  2. Did you laugh the first time she said it?  If so, that's your answer.  Toddlers are really learning cause and effect and if you laughed the first time, she thinks you will laugh EVERY time.  Therefor, she does it to make you laugh.

  3. LOL she is trying to say you are sticky and smell like syrup I would say she is just joking. I know your daughter pretty well so Im sure she doesnt think your syrup maybe she just likes syrup call her little waffle hey after all waffle n syrup go together hand and hand

  4. Just go along with.  It's cute.

    Call her Syrup baby.

  5. well, do you look like syrup?

  6. Hahahahahhaah

  7. Toddlers have really great imaginations.  She may have an imaginary friend that she is talking too!  She may also be confused with the words Mr and Sir.   But its very cute and very normal.  Sometimes my kids call me by my first name or they make someting up.  Just go with it.

  8. Ummm just say "you mean mommy"

  9. Yes. You see, kids that age are learing to 'joke around.' But they dont know many jokes. So they do what simple things they think are funny. My daughter keeps telling me she has a poo poo diaper, but she never does. She does the walk and the face and everything like her diaper is loaded. Its just their way of tricking you, yet the only joke she can pull is to call you by a different name. Its hilarious to them! Dont get upset or mad, shes just trying to make you laugh.

  10. I guess it's better than calling you "NotASlutBucket."

  11. I think thats normal

ive had two baby siblings and they both went through phases calling me funny names

ive been sunny face (im pretty tan)

princy alli ( i played princess with her)

grape juice ( ihave no clue why haha)

    and a couple more

    she'll grow out of it

  12. She probably just learned the new words and likes saying them...it is normal and fine as long as it isn't anything disrespectful or bad!  Call her a silly name as well so she will understand what she is doing...that is what we did with my niece.  She didn't like being called a silly name that wasn't her name so she stopped calling everyone else names.
