My daughter can't find the invitation to a party that started 20 min. ago. Should I help find it?

She is 11. I had it on the fridge this whole time, I took it off to make her call in the RSVP. Now it's missing.

Is 11 too young for me to expect her to have paid more attention? I can't always be the one to organize life for her.

yeah help her! dont you know the number? check on your caller id and call themn and ask for the adress or look it up.

I would tell her she should pay more attention to where she puts things so she doesn't lose them...

...but, give her a hand to help her find it. Make sure that she calls her friend to tell them she'll be late. Or, if she has a #, she can just ask them for the address rather than spending time looking for the lost invitation.

well i mean if you were the one who had it on the fridge and took it down it was all on you to make sure it was there so therefore it wasnt her fault

Most definitely.. she's only 11.. and clearly she would be upset if she misses the party.. and would be also upset with you because you didn't help her.

I know I need to be more responsible for my keys, but it's nice when people help.

Help her out. Call someone who know the address.

I would definitely help her look. If you can't find it, try looking the parents up in the phone book. Also, if she knows anyone else that's going, she could try calling them for the address.

she should have put it back on the fridge but i would help her find it. just let her know that she needs to be more responsible in the future.
