  1. CALL 911  May have concussion

  2. It is better to be safe than sorry. Call your doc or go see your doc. You never know

  3. Oh geez, it is sooo scary but I had this happen to my 4 year old about 4 months ago. I thought he might need one stitch but I got the bleeding to subside within a few minutes.  Since it was in his hair I couldn't put a bandaid on it.

I washed it gently with a clean cloth (water only), put pressure on it until it mostly stopped bleeding (he wouldnt let me put ice on it), and then I put a dab of neosporin on it.

Good luck. If she starts acting funny take her to the ER.

    *stumbling

    *different sized pupils

    *vomiting

*or if her usual speech seems unusual. (slurred)

  4. It's better to be safe than sorry.  It may or may not be anything to worry about but since she is so young you would be doing her & you good by taking her to get checked.  There may be some internal problems that are not seen at this time.  You may also want to call her doctor or some clinic for advice.

  5. She will be fine, put a funny plaster on it, kids fall over

  6. If the bump is coming OUT away from her head, like a goose egg and the bleeding is stopping, she'll more than likely be fine. Just watch her.  She'll probably be tired from getting so upset so she'll want to sleep, don't let that concern you...you don't have to wake her up every 15 minutes or anything if she's acting normal.  How deep is the gash??

The frozen veggies are good.  Keep a cold pack on it and she'll probably need a little bit of tylenol or ibuprofen for a headache.

    ***Edit***

I'm sure she's going to be fine, especially since it sounds like the bleeding is stopping.  Keep applying that ice and give the meds for the pain.   Also, a little extra hugs and kisses don't hurt either!!!

  7. Hun just keep an eye on her i was told not to let them sleep for a few hours and any sign of vomiting you must seek help

    best of luck
