  1. The only value is what they might have as collector's items.

The monetary system in Mexico was overhauled on Jan. 1st 1993 and all coins and bills in circulation before that date were quickly phased out and declared void.

My suggestion is to hold on to the two items as curiosities and perhaps one day you will find someone who would be willing to pay you something for them.

  2. first old dollars from mexico arent worth anything unless the pres. is still in office...but the coin is...2500pecos are worth 1 dollar americantake to a coin shop or bank..they will tell ya..

  3. it is worthless.

  4. The 2000 bill is not worth the paper it is printed on.  About 2 pesos - or 20 cents.  I have no idea about the eagle coin.  What is that?  Not mexican?

  5. Previous answerers are correct about the bill. The cin sounds like a 10 peso coin...worth about $1.00 U.S.  Just save it.

  6. you can find people in flea markets selling old bills for 2, 3 or 5 pesos; which is about 5o cents tops. The coin worths more for the metal than for the currency.

My suggestion: keep them as souvenirs...
