My daughter going to usa from canada what document she need?

if driving across the border..........a passport  or  government issued photo ID and a birth certificate or proof of residency

if flying she must have a passport

Driving, goverment issued photo id, if shes not 16 or doesnt have a drivers liscence, a student card and birth certifiicate works.

If she is going with another person, with a different last name and she is under 16 she will need a letter signed by her guardians saying she is able to go over the boarder with this person, and they will prob ask her a few questions in the car about knowing this person she is with.

TO fly, she must have a passport.  To travelk by lasnd, she must have a photo I.D. ans birth certificdate.  See site below.  If she is a minor, she needs a letter of permission signed by both parents and notarized.
