I have $1.15 in coins, but I cannot make change for a dollar, a half

dollar, a quarter, a dime, or a nickel. What coins do I have?

  1. it seems as though the question is missing some type of information.  i was thinking if you have:

    one half dollar (.50), one quarter (.25), and four dimes (.40)  that would equal $1.15 and you couldn't make exact change for that amount ($1.00)

  3. to make half a dollar all you need is a half dollar coin thats what you choose out of the coins avvailable to you... hope you understand it! =]
