  1. I dont even understand your question..?

Her teeth fell out along with her retainer? Why would her teeth fall out after having braces?

  2. Super glue will not work. The dentist likely used a bio-adhesive. You need to have him/her fix it.

  3. Super Glue will work but I don't recommend using it. Try Elmers Non Toxic glue because it helps!

  4. Please don't glue it back on!! I've seen so many people that do this and mess up the thing because it was set wrong, and since the glue is different than acrylic they have to 'redo' that section and looks different... go back to the dentist that gave it you so they can fix it. if you put it wrong it might move her teeth..... and break again. So go see your dentist. better safe than sorry.

  5. Superglue will work,

Used in Vietnam to glue soldiers back together... will work for your daughters teeth.

Thou it prob wont last too long... just for short term.

-edit- ha I see I've recived 2 'thumbs down' Superglue is non-toxic and will work for a while. what are you people? stupid? I

    -- Toxicity -- (Of Superglue)

The fumes from CA are a vaporized form of the cyanoacrylate monomer that irritate sensitive membranes in the eyes, nose and throat. They immediately are polymerized by the moisture in the membranes and become inert. About 5% of the population can become sensitized to CA fumes after repeated exposure, resulting in flu-like symptoms.[4] It may also act as a skin irritant and may cause an allergic skin reaction. The ACGIH assign a Threshold Limit Value exposure limit of 0.2 parts per million. On rare occasions inhalation may trigger asthma. There can be no singular measurement of toxicity for all cyanoacrylate adhesives as there is a wide variety of adhesives that contain various cyanoacrylate formulations.

However, the National Toxicology Program and the United Kingdom Health and Safety Executive have concluded that the use of ethyl cyanoacrylate is safe and that additional study is unnecessary. 2-octyl cyanoacrylate degrades much more slowly due to its longer organic backbone which slows the degradation of the adhesive enough to remain below the threshold of tissue toxicity. Due to the toxicity issues of ethyl cyanoacrylate, the use of 2-octyl-cyanoacrylate for sutures is preferred.

Idiots! I know about this and 1/2 of you are just kids! Superglue was developed for use in humans... it's a small number that are affected by the fumes... the glue it's self is not toxic! Americans eat the stuff everyday and don't die! there were 4,500 calls last year to A&E's by americans who'd eaten superglue thinking it was toxic! It isnt!

'' Actually all of the above.

Super glue will work in a pinch. But the dental lab uses a special plastic that the teeth embed into.

    My advice:

    1. Use super glue as a stop gap and to keep her from feeling self conscious.

    2. Call the dentist and set an appointment so the retainer can be properly repaired.

    Good luck to you both!''

  6. GOT TO HER ORTHODONTIST TO BE SAFE, DON'T JUST USE YOUR JUDGEMENT. BEST OF LUCK,

    XOXO.

  7. Take it to the ortho or dentist. It needs to be properly aligned when glued back in place.

  8. I recommend taking it to her orthodontist or dentist so they can get it right. Otherwise it will probably keep falling out.

  9. Take it back to the dentist/orthodontist to have it repaired.  Your child's health is not worth the risk of a DIY fix.

  10. I also have one, my dentist said if the teeth become loose or fall out to use super glue...I asked if it would poison me, he said no, just make sure it's completely dry before you put it in your mouth.

I was amazed see on tv that doctors use super glue to close surgical wounds instead of sewing them up.

  11. Her Orthodontist should be called!  Some Orthos have an emergeny number for you to call.  I would wait and call them in the morning.

  12. wtf??!! ur gluing here tooth back in?!?!!?!

  13. Actually all of the above.

    1. Use super glue as a stop gap and to keep her from feeling self conscious.

    2. Call the dentist and set an appointment so the retainer can be properly repaired.

Note: Super Glue if taken internally and in large quantities can be harmful but unless she drinks it or swallows it you are OK

Just use good sense, be sure all the pieces are dry before use and you are all good!

    Good luck to you both!

  17. cement glue is the best for that

  18. i would take your daughter to the dentist. and get him/her to fix it! that would be the smart thing to do probably! maybe your daughter should cry about it!
