My daughter has a very wealthy boyfriend and does not know what to get him for his 34th birthday. PLEASE HELP?

If you have any creative ideas it would be very greatly appreiciated. She has asked me for advice and I am turning to you all on here!!! Thank you in advance for your help and consideration!!!

How about something more personal like a framed s**y photo of your daughter

She needs to get him something personal which shows she cared enough to give it thought. If she can make him something, that's even better. The money isn't nearly as important as the thought behind it. Anyone can go out and buy anything if they have enough so people with money who have a decent character will really appreciate that she didn't just run out and get just anything.

Is there anything he collects? If she could find something she knows he will love, the cost won't matter.

I'm making a throw pillow for a family friend right now. I can't afford to purchase the type of artwork I would need to buy for it to fit with his collection but I got fabric with a pattern on it that will go with what I know he likes and I decided to make a pillow with it. Since it isn't a large item I will do all the stitching by hand. He is the type of person who will really appreciate the thought and effort more than he would care about something expensive he knows we can't afford. I hope your daughter's boyfriend is like that.

If all else fails, get him something fun. It can be a toy she thinks he will get a kick out of. The main thing is to make sure he is aware of the thought that went into it.

If they have kids, then you can volunteer to babysit, then she should go buy a nice tablecloth, candle holders, at least two tall white candles, maybe even a pretty centerpiece of pretty fresh flowers, and then make him a totally hand made dinner for two of : fresh salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, shredded carrots and baby shrimp tossed in a light vinegar and oil,  fresh french bread and butter, sauteed mushrooms with garlic, and lasagna - followed by a small cake complete with vanilla ice cream and candles to blow out.  Make sure she has the lights very dim, the candles lit, and is wearing a very nice dress with heels, has her hair done nice, and make up too. OH! And make sure the phones are all turned off.

This makes it MUCH more romantic than going out, cos the bedroom is right there.....

I have several wealthy men friends that tell me they like THIS kind of birthday present better than anything money can buy, because it is from the HEART.

hmmm...maybe a nice watch?  Here is what I think.....

*if he is sporty ~ rich sporty people.....GOLF clubs, DUH

*if he is musical ~ ask your daughter what bands he likes and buy him a CD or a live tour DVD....maybe even CONCERT TICKETS

*if he is a tv person ~ buy him his fav series or soap opera...like my dad LOVES the sopranos, so my aunt and I got him all 5 seasons
