My daughter has allergic reactions to????

my daughter is having allergic reactions to something but we dont know why or from what, she's alllergic to cats but we dont have any and i'm in this new medication can she be allergic to it by just touching me? is just her skin but it gets really bad.

  1. Both my daughters get skin allergy responses.  I hope that you have gotten rid of any detergents with fragrance and any bath bubble powder or oils.  Anything with fragrance can make some people break out in hives, welts or other problems.  I get skin problems and migraine from commercial perfumes (soap, detergent, fabric softener, etc).  We use hypo-allergenic products.

    Liquid benedryl may help, but it makes you really sleepy.  


  2. could be. Sometimes the body excretes chemicals thru their sweat. U can test this by not allowing your daughter to come in contact with your sweat or touch you, Also note if your sweat is left on objects she contacts.

  3. No, she can't react to something you're taking by touching you. Your best option is to take her to an allergist for an evaluation. Btw if a person is allergic to cats she could react to a neighborhood cat even if there is no cat at home. Meantime, otc loratadine or cetirizine may help with the symptoms.

  4. Since its showing on her skin I think it's probably something  she's been eating that's different..
