My daughter has laryngitis, should I keep her home from school?

I wanted her to stay home with her dad today, but he made her go to school because she "felt fine". I think she needed to stay home to rest her voice so that it will get better sooner. Do you think I should plan to stay home with her tomarrow?

 I have laryngitis and i went to the GP and he said I shouldn't go to school until im 100% but I dont want to miss too much school because of GCSE. Drink loads of fluids and rest, DO NOT have spicy food as I had it and normally I can take spicy food. I hope this has helped
