  1. Get Always Plus with Wings in the slender size. Have her practice with them BEFORE she needs them so it's not such a huge deal when she does.

Go to a book store or WalMart and pick up some books on puberty and adolescence that are readable. The books should be read by both of you!  Knowledge is power. Get her a comfortable "tee-shirt" bra or two. And please show her how to shave the right way.....I had to learn EVERYTHING on my own because I couldn't tell my mom ~at 11 years old I started periods and I  thought I had a terminal disease! She didn't tell me anything because she thought it wouldnt happen till I was 13 or 14.........don't wait, and educate your daughter!

  2. any pads are fine but her breast hurt because they are growing and hair down there doesn't mean she getting ready to start her period trust me I started growing hair down there when I was eight and I started my period when I was twelve

  3. Her b*****s hurt because they are growing! This is all  normal.  Any pads will do, just get the thin ones because they are most comfortable.  The ones with wings also provide a little more protection.  Periods usually come last, so she won't probably get that for another year or 2.

  4. Of course she's going through puberty! you were a girl her age once! Girls start as early as 9 and as late as 13. If she wants to start shaving, teach her. I probably started shaving around her age... I'm 13 now, so yah, that seems right. I wouldn't worry too much about periods this early. I haven't had mine and I've been going through puberty for 3 or 4 years. It's usually much later in puberty, but for some girls it's not, so if she tells you that she has her period, then get her normal pads. Her flow will be very light this young. Also, talk to her about bras - weather there cami-bras or real. Just talk to her and teach her what she needs to know.

  5. I would suggest always light pads for her period  I know that's what my mom brought me for my first period. For the armpit Hair, If she is the type to get embarrassed by "that" kind of stuff you should make sure that she wears shirts that cover her armpit.Like a longer sleave

  6. Not heavy at first.

  7. Yes, by the sounds of it your daughter is well into puberty based on what your describing. The average age for puberty for girls is 10.5 years old, some start as young as 7 or 8, others start at 9/10 while others go as late as 12/13, it all depends on the child's genetics. Here's a site that can help you and your daughter better understand what stage of puberty she's in. One more thing, her period will come 1-2 years after she first developed her b*****s.

I would recommend your daughter uses maxie pads, and not tampons.

    Hope this helps
