My daughter is 14 months old and she hits herself in the head..?

How can I break this habit? It is weird.

  1. I don't know if it's normal but what child is these days. My daughter used to sit in her stationary walker and bang her head on the seat when she got mad or was playing and for no good reason at all. Just tell her no no or stop her when you see her doing it. Maybe she thinks it's fun or she maybe doing it because she she's it gets her attention. She'll grow out of it. If she's not hurting herself leave her alone maybe if you ignore her when she does it will stop eventually. Believe me she's normal.


  2. Read the babycenter.com article about this.  I don't think you can break this habit, you can stop her from hitting herself, if you can catch it in time.  

  3. I remember my son doing strange things like this.

  4. My son did this too!! Sometimes when he was mad and sometimes it was just random. I didn't acknowledge it. Don't laugh or tell them no. If the baby gets no attention for it they will stop! Don't worry kids always do wierd stuff lol!
