  1. My daughter is 3 months and 3 weeks old and weighs 14 pounds, so I would say that is about right.

  2. Depends on how much she weighed when she was born by the time they are 6 months the should double in weight

  3. Isn't she going for her 4month doc appt? Did she? I'm sure the doc would tell you if it wasn't and they should have told you what percentile she was in.

We go next week for my son's 4month, I'm guessing he's about 15+lbs

  4. Based on the growth charts for girls, that puts her at about the 75th percentile.  In other words, she weighs as much or more than 75% of the infants her age.

Nothing wrong with that.  The only thing that would be "wrong" or would cause a doctor any concern is if her growth progressed at a rate that suddenly changed (like raised to the 95th percentile or dropped towards the 25th percentile.

  5. My daughter was 4 months on Tuesday. We got her weighed and she was 14 lbs 5 1/2 oz. So that is just 1/2 oz heavier than yours. Weird. My health visitor said she is fine so i guess yours must be too.

    What a strange co-incidence.

  6. You must have seen her pediatrician since the baby is already 4 months old. What did the doc say?

  7. my son weighed 14lbs 7oz at that age ..he's now 6 months and almost 17lbs
