My daughter is 5 and she needs to do a talent show at school.?

Ask her to tell you about her favorite thing.  Favorite color, etc.

Then teach her that song "These are a few of my favorite things" and let her tell about them.

Ask your daughter. Would she rather sing, dance, do a skit with some friends? 5 year olds are cute no matter what they do, so let them decide. Disney songs are always adorable, and teaching your daughter a simple dance to go along with one of these songs won't take to long, and the result will be greatly appreciated.

Remember, don't pressure her. Let her do what she wants.

If she has a special musical talent such as playing a piano, dancing, singing, or playing an instrument have her do that. Maybe you could have her do some cute little magic tricks. If groups of friends are allowed to enter together, maybe you could encourage them to do a skit, play, or a dance routeene. Whatever she does, just make sure it is something she enjoys! There are some good ideas here. if you want her to sing and dance, make sure that the dance is SUPER easy, and makes sense with the words.

having her just dance would not be the best idea, as a week is not enough time to get a dance down perfectly.

mainly, just let her decide what she wants to do, and let her have fun. don't push her too hard to be perfect, or she'll break down and not want to do it.

so just let her have a good time.
