  1. umm.... im not realy sure. my first thought was maybe if you cooked some carrots and then purre' them? or peas maybe?

  2. Keep trying different types of food until you find something she likes.

  3. maybe it is the stuff in the gerber food. you can try making homemade stuff like grated apples/apple sauce, very easy to make. you can smash and put together different veggies or just individually. fruits and veggies are the best way to go i would say.

  4. Peas... My daughter was 10 months before she would even try gerber... and before then my doctor recommended peas... overcook them a little so they are mushy..also very overcooked pasta, baby oatmeal (if the baby id iffy about the oatmeal, try adding a little fruit juice to it... it sweetens it up, so they like it much better)

    hope i could help!!!

  5. mix gerber food with cereals..

  6. my daughter didnt eat any food , im mean just a LITTLE untill she was about 11 month old,  have you try all gerber food, maybe she will tell you which she like?

  7. smooched bananas

  8. pasta :D

and like you can tear up little peices of roasted chicken for her

so she can get some protein

    and she can eat grapes

    and little fruits like that

and or for snacks she could have cherrios or goldfish

or you can give her cheese.

  9. who WANTS to eat gerber?! trust me i've tried it. i would have rather eaten a bug. i would suggest soup, mashed potatoes, or like fruit smoothies with tofu in them(i know that kinda sounds nasty, but its not. you cant even taste the tofu. it just adds protein).... good luck!

  10. I like the question, but you never know when we answerers become liable for what we say.

I fed my most recent child meat blended into mashed or pureed potatoes;  lots of Milupa instead of Gerber cereal;  scoops of pear and bananas;  apple sauce, pureed cooked carrots and squash or sweet potato, biscuits and other things, but no form of egg - I didn't see any way of cooking that to be safe or palletable.

Really, there must be a form of food in a jar that she will take?

  11. Just keep trying she will get it, if it's just gerber food switch to another brand, I personally like Del-Motte baby food better, it wasn't as watery and it's cheaper.  Is it all the food, or just veggies and meats, if it that you could mix the fruit w/the veggies - I had do that for awhile.  My daughter didn't go to table food until she was 12 months which is what my doc recommended, but I know people who started as early as 9 months, maybe ask your doctor.  There are site on-line that tell you how to make home made food for babies, but you have to watch what you give them because not all thing digest well with them at this age.  If she won't eat the Gerber food, try a different brand, if you still have no luck ask your doctor.  Oh, and make sure you feed her the solids before you give her, her bottle.  But some children are stubborn and take a bit to get it so you might just have to keep trying.

    Mother of 16 month old.

  12. Oh, just give her mashed potato or mashed hard boiled egg, or scraped apple or mashed banana.

    GOD BLESS THE CHILD :)

  13. try mac and cheese, soup, noodles and such.and if shes teething then give her cookies. they help them alot

  14. Try mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes...my daughter enjoyed pureed carrots and peas.

  15. well you cant blame her. try making your own blend of vegetables like squash. have it slightly warm, as well.

  17. my son hated baby food in the jar, he would never, ever eat it.  i had to go to a food therapist.  from her ideas, i made him fresh mashed potates with some unsalted butter -- or fresh yams mashed up with a touch of unsalted butter and brown sugar.  i also gave him unsalted creamy peanut butter, which i know you're not supposed to do before 1 year but it never hurt him.  my son was underweight, so i also fed him a small amount of cheesecake mashed up in a little cup.  she also had me mash up fresh veggies and put a little butter or melted cheese on them.  i would also add a touch of the unsalted butter, brown sugar and cream to fresh oatmeal.  I also made this recipe called spinach rice torta.  It's spinach, rice, cheese, olive oil, small amount of green onion and eggs you cook into a baking dish and cut into squares.  It's soft and they can mash it in their mouth and then they are getting veggies.  If you want the recipe, I can email it to you.
