  1. I just bought Sesame Street video call QUIET TIME to help my granddaughter power down.

I give her warm cup of very diluted vanilla tea (no sugar) with milk sometimes half a banana while she watches the video.

Her eyelids get heavy and she is ready for bed.

    Warm herbal tea make sleepy.

    Bananas make sleepy.

A small turkey sandwich makes sleepy.

Children need about an hour to power down.

Play soft music as subliminal soothing one hour prior to bedtime.

Bring the surrounding energy level down one hour before bedtime.

The scent of lavender relaxes as well. I sometimes mist her pillow with lavender scent. Bath and Body store have a great pillow spray designed to promote sleep. I spray it on my pillow too. Cost $10.00... last a long time. Spray the room or pillow with a few puffs 30 mins before bedtime.

    Good Luck and Sweetdreams!
