Question:

My daughter is blowing bubbles?

So my 11mo. old daughter has been blowing bubbles out of her mouth.

Has anyone seen/heard of something like this?

Is this normal?

It's very strange. She can use her saliva to make these bubbles, and she just keeps doing them when she's tired.

  1. haha! Totally normal! Mine does it too, its just something new she can do so she will do it until she figures something else out to make you crazy! lol! My daughter has learned how to climb on the couch, she climbs up gets down, climbs up gets down, climbs up gets down........you get the point.

  2. completely normal, don't worry

  3. My daughter did the same thing when she was about 8 months old!  It's so funny and cute when she did it.  She's almost 11 months now and she doesn't do it as often.  Maybe your daughter has extra saliva in her mouth because she's teething (that's what happened with my baby).  Take some pictures and laugh it off.  :-)

  4. nah, don't worry

  5. dont worry abt it.

  6. i work at a daycare in the baby room

every baby ive had blew bubbles with its saliva, boogers.. you name it...

its a very normal way to pass the time haha

  7. My daughter did the same thing right around that age as well.  She did it with a grin once she realized what she was doing.  She still does it from time to time usually followed by a raspberry to get rid of the leftover saliva...LOL.  She also discovered how to click her tongue around the same time.  No worries...wait til she discovers her nostrils.  I can't stand it when my daughter does that!  She does it on purpose too...sticks her finger up the nostril and just smiles at me.  I've learned if I ignore her and don't react...she'll stop.  I'll take bubble blowing over that any day!  LOL

  8. It's normal!! Don't worry your child is fine.
