My daughter is going into High school and the books are not cheap are there any webs or ideas for cheaper book

(sorry I meant to say books not book for the end of the sentence :D)

Anyways I'm the daughter of a young girl going into high school, the text books are around the hundreds price range. I have to buy 15 books and the most expansive is $106.25.

I'm a working mom who does not get paid very much I need ideas like good websites for cheaper books, websites for used books ...etc. things like that !! Can anyone pleeease help.

Sheesh, I NEVER had to buy a textbook in high school!  That's ridiculous!

Try half.com or ebay.com!  I've gotten books off of it for less than $10 before, each!

try amazon's bargain books section.  I don't know what books you are looking for, but they have new and used books as well.

I'd suggest searching the web with the titles and editions.  I got a book for my German class that was $4 (the rest of my class spent about $80 on theirs). :D

Half.com is a good one. When she gets to college, most schools have websites run by students where they can buy books directly from other students-- this saves a ton of money, especially if she sells her books when she's done.
