I think so because on youtube.com you see many people video tapeing some part of the concerts and displaying on youtube.com. So I think it is ok to video tape at the concert, but you might want to get a second opinion on this. I might be wrong. I hope this can be of some help and I hope your daughter enjoys the concert.

No it is illegal the only band I know of that allows you to bootleg their concerts is Metalllica Cause they are the best.
