  1. Lucky you...enjoy your sleep;)

  2. count urself lucky!!! this isnt strange, but dont get too used to it, it may not last long!!!

  3. I think its lucky!

  4. ITS NOT STRANGE AT ALL MOST BABIES WILL SLEEP BETTER WHEN SWADDLED IT GIVES THEM A SENSE OF SECURITY AS IF THEY WHERE STILL IN YOUR TUMMY

I SAY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT WHILE YOU CAN

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND GOODLUCK

  5. not strange at all. Mine started sleeping through at 8 weeks. They do go through stages though. So enjoy your sleep now cos im sure there will be more restless nights to come.

  6. Uncommon for sure. As long as she's steadily gaining weight I guess there's no worry. But if she starts to lose you'll need to wake her to feed. Ask your doctor about this.

  7. no not strange at all! Because she is so securely wrapped her arms can't startle out and wake her and she is probably a lot warmer which helps them sleep longer too. I swaddle my son as well and he loves it. As soon as he is all wrapped he goes straight off to sleep without any problems. He knows that the wrapping means sleep time already because we have done the same thing at the same time since he was born. So far though his longest has only been 7 hrs at night but usually he sleeps for 5 hours then wakes for a feed and sleeps another 3 hours....I'm waiting for the day he skips that feed and we get a full 8 hours of sleep! Ahh, what a blissful night that will be, lol!!

Good luck and congrats on the new bub!

  8. That's great. She quite obviously is really content and is feeding really well. Enjoy your time with your partner and sleep while you can.

  9. Like everyone else said, be happy, dont worry lol. My first son starting sleeping throught the night at 6 weeks and has been that way ever since (he is now 5 yrs old) and my second son well, lets just say he never really slept through the night, he is now 3 yrs old and if he is not in bed with me then he wakes up several times a night. He has been sleeping in our bed since about 9 months old. So count your blessings :D

  10. No, I don't think that's strange.  When DD was only 3 wks old people were bugging me that she wasn't STN and I thought, but she's a little baby!  DD started STN at 8 weeks (7 pm - 5:30 am).  I guess that over 6 hours of non-interrupted sleep is considered STN, though for me it meant no 1 am or 3 am feed!

Count yourself as lucky.  I still hear from moms who do the 4 am feed after a year....

  11. It's lucky, but not particularly strange. Mine slept through the night for the first time at 8 weeks. She hated being swaddled though! They're all different...

  12. No, be very happy and enjoy your time to sleep

  13. No, I think you're just lucky! Some babies sleep through very early and others take a lot longer. You're one of the lucky ones! Babies generally start sleeping through once their little stomachs get big enough to hold enough milk to last them through. My baby was 10 weeks when she started sleeping through. 80% of babies are sleeping through by the time they're 4 months old.

  14. My daughter slept through the night (12 - 6) for the first time the night before her 1-month doctor appointment.  Everyone said we were so lucky, and I agree!

  15. my 13 week old baby has been sleeping through the night since she was about 6 weeks old. It was a little worrying at first but now we love it!

  16. it is not usual but not abnormal or wrong. All babies are different...my first didnt sleep through the night until she was almost 5 years old, my second daughter was sleeping 8pm-8am by 6 weeks old! (she was a nice suprise and a breath of fresh air i can tell you! lol)

Just don't brag to all other shattered parents!! No only kidding!

9 weeks is okay to sleep this long too, often in the first few weeks it wouldn't be best for a baby to NOT be fed in the night but from 6 weeks it i okay to go without milk this long as long as weight gain remains steady! Enjoy those evening!

  17. Nope. My daughter will be 9 weeks tomorrow & she's been sleeping through the night pretty much all of this month. She sleeps with me & we go to sleep about 10pm (she started daycare at 7 weeks old) & she sleeps till we wake up about 5 or 5:30. Today she woke up with me & fell back to sleep again when we left for daycare at 6:30.
