The past 3 diaper changes haven't been heavy at all. She has a cold and is congested. She is still drinking normal, its just the wet diapers I'm worrying about. I have an app't with the doctor tomorrow morning.

  1. If shes still wetting diapers then I wouldnt be to concerned, UNLESS, shes acting lethargic(not waking for feedings or just hard to keep her awake). My 2 and a 1/2 month old has a cold and is congested as well and her diapers arent as wet as they usually are, but they are wet. And shes still alert when she is up. Also, how old is your daughter? Another way to know if their getting dehydrated is the soft spot on their heads. If it seems to be sunken in and you can really see it pulsating, then that would be a concern too. Hope she feels better, I hate seeing babies sick :(

  2. I'm glad you have an appointment in the morning.  I hate when people get on YA and ask important questions like this instead of talking to a doctor.

That seems to be a strange situation.  I would have said she wasn't drinking enough and maybe dehydrated, but you said she's drinking normally, so I'm really not sure.  How have her bm's been?

I'm sure it's nothing major if she's still eating & drinking ok.
