Should I convert money before I send it, can I send gift cards, if so, which ones are best? Can anyone suggest sites that can help? Thanks!

  1. Depends where you live look at the exchange rates and chose which is best

  2. it would be better to convert the money or send a cheque. you can send gift cards but it depnds what she needs. for food try asda sainsburys or tesco.

  3. send the money over and  she'll convert it - the $ or euro is higer so she'll get more money

  4. Click this link

    This may help

    http://www.westernunion.co.uk

  5. It depends on where you live.

Most gift cards I have looked at sending back to the UK are not accepted there due to exchange rates etc.

If you send a check your daughter will lose a lot in the conversion. Your best bet would be to send her a money order.

  6. i would send a gift cards she can buy what she went with it and some of the money to well help her out

  7. Are you a Namibian, Vietnamese, Irish, Colombian, from Guernsey or perhaps an American? All boils down to nationality and the current exchange rate. Why not send a money order that she can cash at a bank or at a Western Union office (there are plenty in the UK)... xx
