  1. my son is 14 months and I still feel like I don't know what to feed him.

I feed him those pasta pick-ups from gerber, he loves those. Fruit,, crackers, chicken, fries, hamburgers, ham, cereal, yogurt, toast, bagels.

I hope I gave you some ideas.

  2. Hi

I have three kids - one is 5, one is 3 and my son will be 1 on Friday.  He eats a variety of things - pasta twirls, cheese, chicken, carrots, grapes, melon, biscuits - you name it - he tries it.  He also has babyfood for his breakfast, dinner and tea as he doesn't seem to want to eat the table food for his whole dinner.

Don't worry - just keep trying your baby on different things and you'll both get the hang of it and will know when to change.

  3. Jar is still good to supplement but she should be eating table food too. Make food that is easy for her to eat as far as chewing. If you feed her pasta then cut it up in small pieces so she doesn't choke. Don't feed her grapes whole , nuts and marshmallows. She can eat meats such as hamburger or chops if cut small for her. Don't worry too much tho, she will teach herself as well as you as what she can eat. If she has a hard time she will spit it out.

  4. Read the book Super Baby Food by Ruth Yaron.  It answers every question you could ever possibly have!!  It is my baby food bible and I love it!

  5. She can eat anything you cook for yourself.  If YOU have poor eating habits, why not use this opportunity to improve both your diets.

Meats, (cut them up small) fish (keep high mercury fish to a minimum), veggies, dairy products,  fruits, grains -- all the usual food groups.  Go easy on sodium and sugar, and let her (and you) learn to enjoy a wide range of healthy foods.
