  1. It depends on the legal system of both countries

I believe she can get the Japanese citizenship

if she's qualified and what about the U.K.is the British government allow their citizens to have another citizenship & keep theirs ?

  2. If she has nine fingers and two thumbs she should have no problem holding two passports.

  3. Maybe if she is married to a Japanese citizen or has some other connection to Japan by birth or parentage.

  4. Though it depends on her situation, the answer is NO.

Because Japan doesn't allow to have dual citizenship, so she has to choose either British or Japanese citizenship by the time she turns 22 years old.

If she gets dual citizenship when she is 20 years old or over, she has to choose one within 2 years.
