  2. While it depends on the host family one of the most fun gifts my brother gave his european (German) in-laws was an Elvis clock where Elvis' hips would swing with the time.

  3. I'd say something that is emblematic of the region you live in except for food products (due to export/import laws).

  4. Well congrats on your daughters going to France.

    You should take something that represents your family and the world that you live in it will give that family a sense of knowing you.

    Shame that you cannot take Pork Pie, Cheddar Cheese etc.
