The party will be outdoors at a pick your own farm so decorations will be limited. I need ideas for invitations, food, games, goody bags, etc. Thanks!

  1. A blueberry custom made pinata http://www.pinatas.com/Pinatas_s/1.htm

  2. have a blueberry flavored cake

maybe have everyone wear blue and purple

have all the food be blue

    blue cake

    blue juice

    blue ice cubes

    blueberry jelly and peanutbutter sandwiches

  3. For favors, how about putting the dry ingredients for a blueberry pie, tart, or muffin  into a zip-lock, with the recipe and directions attached.  This way they can use the blueberries they pick to go along with it.  Make invitations on the computer.  I'm sure you could download some pictures of blueberries to decorate it and keep with the theme.  For food, how about ordering pizza and having it delivered there.  Also have bowls of chips out.  As far as games, maybe bring a radio and play freeze dance.

    Have fun!

  4. Send friends and family an invite they can really sink their teeth into with adorable Food Invitations! Using either cardstock or construction paper, cut out different food shapes, including watermelons and even sandwich pieces - bread, lettuce, tomato and lunch meat! Write all the party details on each piece and stack them together like a sandwich! Slide them into a Ziploc sandwich bag and then into a small manila envelope and send them off! Whichever picnic food you choose, be sure to include all the party info!

Decorate the backyard with torch candles, cutouts, sun umbrellas, banners, watermelon lights I got mine from  Party City and colorful blankets for your picnic! Use lots of summer colors and be creative!

Place a disposable camera on each blanket and encourage friends and family to take lots of photos of the day's events so you don't miss a moment of the fun!

Be a basket case! Invite families to pack a picnic basket for the day! Set up blankets all over the lawn so guests can cop a squat on the grass and have a picnic! Let them know that you'll supply the paper and plasticware (and the desserts and refreshments!) and then drop into Party City like I always do for fun summer patterns like Summertime Watermelon or blueberry.

Badminton Sets, Stik-Ums, Wiffle Ball Sets and colorful frisbees make great party favors! Or help them stay cool with frosted mugs and other summer sippers in lots of bright colors!

Colorful beach totes, towels and beach balls also make fun favors that'll help your guests dive right into summer!

If you just can't wait to thank your guests for such a wonderful day, thank them with Picnic Pics Thank Yous! Send a photo of the family from the picnic - be sure to get every family member in the shot - and attach a small contruction paper or cardstock ant (the size of a gift tag) carrying your thanks! You can write on the black ant with a white crayon or colored pencil!

Late entry for the party favors give the favors in a beach pail, they can also use them for picking blackberries...
