  1. GET PREPAID.. THAT WAY YOU CAN CONTROL THE MINUTES SHE USES AND ITS VERY INEXPENSIVE

  2. Hi, i have a younger sister and an older sister the oldest one allways had everthing sooner than us so we allways had the same

my youngest wanted a phone when she was ten but my mum and dad put there foot down as they thought she was too young so your probably doing the right thing by not letting her have one, on the other hand if shes responsible let her buy her own with her allowence or put the money toward it hope that helped x

  3. If it helps, I am with Virgin Mobile, and they have really good prepaid plans. Even a $20 one. They also have cool reasonable phones. There website is www.virginmobileusa.com.

    Check it out.

  4. I'm not sure what your asking exactly, but if your asking for good phone company's, I really like Virgin Mobile.

It has really good service and really awesome phones [ i currently have the Super Slice which is only forty dollars] If she would want unlimited texting, its only 20 dollars a month, even as prepaid, and I am REALLY picky, and for me to like it is weird.

Good luck picking a phone for your daughter. :]

  5. She has a busy schedule, which makes your life hectic also...so what happens when you are running late and she is waiting for you to pick her up from soccer, but you think that she is at swimming so you go to the pool and she's waiting at the soccer field...then you panic because you can't find her and she panics because you are late.  Kids need phones these days.  If there is an emergency then you want to be able to get in touch with her.  And by getting a prepaid phone, you don't have to worry about her running up the phone bill, and by making her earn money to buy her minutes, then she is less likely to waste them and more likely to appreciate the phone (so she won't lose it).  It's a good idea.

  6. Wow she is really responsible. When I was her age, I got my first cellphone too, although i wasn't as invovled in sports or household chores.

My parents got me an unlimited plan, and if i got a bad grade in school

or was "fresh" they would take away the phone. I have verizon and unlimited is like 20$ extra or like 30$ maybe she could use her money for that because to be quite honest, everyone who is not on an unlimited plan ALWAYS goes over everything. I dont think she is too young because you NEED a way to contact her. Suppose a game is cancelled or in school she stayed after or her bus broke down. She needs a way to contact you. Your lucky, when I was her age I was a monster too my parents. Best of Luck!

  7. How is she going to buy the minutes?

Why don't you just get a free phone from your wireless provider by signing a 2 year contract and give that to her?

  8. $20-$30 i month is not enough for a phone. how about you ask for like..$20 and you pay the rest. ??

do the 300 minutes and unlimited text,,,, BAM phone for like 35 a month

  9. Get her a phone and if she goes over make her pay the extra charges.

  10. every teenager wants a cell phone..... i wanted one sooooo mad but i dont get unlimited texting so it really boring..

  11. get a sony ericsson

  12. CRICKET unlimited calling and texting very cheap and cool phones

  13. My brother got his cell when he was 11 for the same reason. I would have too except the cool new cells weren't out until I was in high school. I recommend the go plan by AT&T. You should be able to get a decent phone with a camera. If you cannot find a single pre-paid plan with a camera phone you could always by one online, like from ebay, and make sure it's unlocked then you can use it with any company that used sims cards. I am not exactly sure if go plans used sim cards though. Good luck!!!

  14. Check Target - theyhave all differnt types with different plans. Virgin Moble is very good. Virginmobileusa.com

  15. i would say no but if she going to pay for her own minutes  why not?

  16. give it to the poor child.

she seems like the type of kid that actually needs it and if its pre paid you dont have to worry about going over minutes.

and if shes going to be paying for her own minutes, what more do you want?!

you can warn her that this is the only time youre buying her a camera phone, if she looses it or brakes it then shes going to have to buy one with her own money.

    hope it helped.
