  1. I have 5 tattoos and 5 piercings. I did not have any problems with the tattoos getting infected, however both of these procedures require A LOT of after care! The belly ring requires daily cleaning and salt soaks and takes about 6 months to heal (piercings get infected easily). on the plus side piercings are temporary! if she changes her mind she can take it out with minimal cost and damage. tattoos on the other hand as you know are permanent and costly to remove. They require cleaning daily and cannot be exposed to the sun, however they do heal quickly the smaller they are. (its a personal choice but i suggest the piercing. if she wants the tattoo later she can still get it when she is ready to decide to permanently mark her body)

  2. piercing is likely to get infected but thats minor

and a tattoo will hurt her alot

i say dont do it girls look better with out tattoos if they have one they just fall into a stereo type and piercings any where besides the ears is tacky

    its your call

o the bible doesnt say to much about this but it does say not to get something about some one who is dead ex RIPs or memorial for the dead

reason being they are in a better place than you are so morning it would be a sin

  3. You are the parent and unless she is an adult, it is totally up to you as to whether or not you allow either. Definitely the belly button piercing is the better choice. As to the guy who said mourning the loss of her father is a sin, you are misquoting the bible. No where in the bible does it say this. When Lazarus died (Jesus loved Nazarus very much) Jesus wept. He wept that his beloved friend died and then he raised him from the dead. The bible also says in Proverbs: Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted.

  4. well either one can get infected. it all matters on whether the equipment used is sterilized correctly for either piercing or tattoo. because if the stuff used isnt either new or cleaned properly, than chances are she'll get an infection. it also matters if she takes care of it correctly. if she gets a tattoo, make sure she doesnt go to the beach or a pool, and that she puts the cream stuff on it like about 3 times a day. for the piercing, make sure she cleans it whenever she or someone else touches it. so if you choose the tattoo, watch the artist take the needle things out of the package. makesure everything being used has been sterilized. and pretty much same for the piercing. i know this is a crazy answer lol but im just trying to help. and tattoos dont always hurt. it depends where you get them. same with a piercing.

  5. belly button

  6. As long as you go to a good place either one is pretty safe. But I'd suggest you talk her out of the belly button thing, at least until after she has kids. I've heard it can get stretched like crazy during pregnancy. One girl said that after she could put a finger through the hole.

So maybe do some research and find out what kind long term impact each can have.
