  1. Babysitting, doing chores around the house, helping out with friends/family chores, dog walking.  These are just a few things she can do, or she can make jewelry and sell it.  It is something easy.  Hope these ideas help.

  2. I have a 10 and 12 year old, we give them money for doing extra things around the house. They don't get money for cleaning their rooms or bathroom because after all they are the only ones that use it. But if they do the dishes, vacuum, laundry anything above and beyond picking up their  messes we give them an allowance every week. Some weeks they get something some weeks they don't.

  3. at that age she can;t get a 'real' job just helping out neighbors... maybe if she is responsible she could babysit, but i think 11 is a bit young for that... but helping out with yard work that kind of thing.... maybe pet sitting

  4. Small chores around the house or around a trusted neighbors house : )

  5. First of all you should get her to make a list of ways she can make money. I coach people & the most important thing is that people think for themselves. Without knowing where you live it is hard to guess if any suggestions anyone makes will work. My kids bought a big can of Wyler's Lemonaid it is a powder you just add water to it & put it in a pitcher. Big cups & they got a table & made signes & sold lemonaide for $1 a cup. This was about $20 years ago when people were spending money freely. I remember my mail lady stopping & she said I am so happy to buy this lemonaid this is what this country is about. I live in the USA but I think she meant people using their ideas to make money...They eventually had so many customers I took them to food warehouse & they bought boxes of candy & they were the hit of our area....At 11 she can also be a mothers helper by playing with children while parents are home just giving the parent some time to not be disturbed. She should make a list of how much she will charge & what she comes up with & hand them out to neighbors. What house work can she do? Yard work? there are so many things once you make her think she will start using the creative part of her brain & build confidence in doing this so don't give her my ideas coach her to come up with them on her own. She can make brownies, have a yard sale, even ask neighbors to help clean out their garages & allow her to have their trash or treasures to sell. The list really is unlimited & if you let her come up with it she will learn a skill for life.

  6. you could give her a weekly allowance depending on her chores, or how well she behaves throughout the week.

  7. I agree that she may be too young to babysit on her own but she can be a Mother's helper.  To watch after little ones while the parent is still in the house. In my area this is popular and could be used amongst friends, family, or trusted neighbors.
