  1. Juniors sizes.  My 10-year-old is crossing over.  She's not tall, but she needs the juniors fit in her hips.  She's a size 0, but your daughter sounds taller, so I'd go up a size or so.

I actually posted a similar question a while back because we had a similar problem.  We've had luck with Aeropostale.  The clothes don't seem too "adult" so far.

  2. I think you should move her up to juniors. Like a size one. Plus junior clothes are really cute. :) She will be stylin!

  3. Try joiners.

  4. When you say 16- I believe you are talking about size 16 girls?

She should be ready to cross over to the junior clothing. Starting at 0,1,3 and then going up to 5,7,9, 10....

Beware, once you are in the juniors clothes, many of them can be quite revealing, as they are designed for "older" girls.

Places like Sears, are pretty good about having a bit more tasteful line, also check out discount department stores such as Marshall's for good prices on clothes that are age appropriate.

    Good luck:)

  5. aer you talking 16 in women's or girls?

If its girls then you might want to start her on clothing for the general population.

Is your child heavy or normal built?

  6. If she's as tall as you say and already in a size 16 girls, you probably need to upgrade to the junior miss or misses department.  You may also have to try a bunch of different stores or clothing lines before you find a size that works, since all clothes are cut differently.  Hope you find what you need!

  7. dude 16 is big. im 13 and 16's fit me !

  8. Some stores sell size 18 in girls, but I think that you could go on to juniors sizes. In juniors sizes, she'd probably be wearing about a size 2 or 4 in pants, and anywhere from an extra small to a medium in shirts, depending on the store. I'm not sure if places such as American Eagle or Abercrombie and Fitch would be appropriate yet, but try department stores, Target, and Wal - Mart - or go to online shopping stores such as http://store.delias.com/frontpage.do For cute clothes in juniors sizes.

  9. Move her up to the JR's department...

  10. i would go to the smallest size in juniors. go to a teen store, like deb or american eagle

  11. Go to a size 1 in womens or junoirs .... Either way they're the same size

My 10 year old is in a size 1 already.... And still growing. She's going to be taller and curvier and than me *jealous*

  12. I think she probably needs to go into the Junior sizes.

  13. have u tried the store sections up to 18 years old?

  14. Get her the plus girls. JcPennies has them. www.jcp.com

I hate when ppl think "plus" they think FAT.

Plus just makes them longer and curvyer..

my daughter is 4 and she wears the 5plus ... around her bottom they fit perfect.. but on the waist I still have to use that elastic thing to make it tighter.. cause it's too big.

Kids are just healthier and taller these days... back in the day they use to be teeny tiny.. remember.. we're raising NBA players these days!!  LOL

    hope this helped!

  15. I'm no expert but I found a chart for you.

  16. The next thing she needs to do is go on a diet.
