She said she couldn't get them off, but she didn't but the knot off..She said she cut it off because she couldn't get it off..She said the strings have no purpose (BULL) she cut the loops.. the knot was still there.. one had a bow.. one had a knot with the loops cut off... WHAT TO DO? was she out of line or what... Dancing shoes aren't cheap !!

  1. Wow, what a weird thing to do...and onbiouvly the string serves a purpose. I would roll with it, because generally you tie the bow where need be, and then you actually do cut it off. If its presenting a problem or discomfort I'd ask her t o accompany you and buy another pair fo shoes to replace the ones she ruined

  2. im geuss your talkign about the drawstring. that happens to me soo much and i go through 2 or 3 pairs of ballet shoes a year! its not a big deal she can still dance. it wont affect her much. the drawstrign bows should be tucked in anyways!

  3. That is a weird thing to do, i agree she shouldnt have cut them. But as long as her shoes fit and they arent too big (the drawstrings tighten the shoes) she should be fine. You dont want to see the drawstrings anyway, once you tighten them you tuck them in your shoes. It might be better that she cut it because as long as the knot is there you dont have to worry about tucking in the extra strong.
