  1. I had a problem with my geckos eye before but it always had discharge. If yours doesn't have discharge then its probably fine. If its really bothering you, you could take it to a vet(but it would end up costing you too much $$$). I would just let it be and just keep and eye on it. As for the tail, Try feeding the gecko alittle bit more food. The tail should always look plumb, even though sometimes they go through phases where they don't eat. I would just add a few more crickets to your daughters geckos diet. If the gecko eats all the food in the tank add alittle more to see if he/she will eat it. Just remember to always take out uneaten food.

Good Luck with your daughthers gecko!

  2. I am going to guess that you have a Leopard Gecko. You should go to your local Petco or PetSmart and pick up calcium and gut-loaded crickets. The gecko can eat and drink all he wants, and when it is appropriate too, but the most important thing for him is his calcium intake. They make special sprays and calcium powder that you can put in a dish or you can coat your crickets with before you give it too him.

  3. they do the eye thing .fat is stored in the tail for winter maybee it needs more food
