  1. I wonder if they experience a food allergy. I found I get headaches when I eat too much sodium and don't get the water intake I need. It took a while to figure it out, as I had to eliminate certain foods first. Is there something you all constantly eat at your house? Food allergies are not only associated with unhealthy foods. For example, many people have a wheat allergy.

  2. could be sinuses

  3. when my son was that age.  he would get headaches. when he ate or drank anything that had red. he couldn't even a eat a hotdog because of the red skin.  you'll be surprise they'll use red on everyting.  i even  had to buy clear liquid (mortrin,  medicine)  i had to read the ingredient on everythind if it had red dye.   or maybe she eating or drinking that causing her headaches.

  4. Where exactly is the pain located?

I have had migraines in the back of my head that shot around to the front since the 6th grade. Some would be so bad I couldn't even get out of bed.  My mom would take me to doctors and they would prescribe me stuff and NOTHING ever helped.

Finally I went to a chiropractor and he did some x-rays and found that my neck goes out at the base of my skull.  He put it back in and viola all better.  So now when I get a headache I go see my chiropractor and he adjusts me and in about an hour I feel great.

  5. Hi Tinkerbell, I think I'd get a second opinion, just to be on the safe side.  Have you had her eyes tested recently?  Is she drinking enough water during the day?  I was asked the same questions with my daughter and to be honest I have realised with her that its hormonal, she gets bad headaches when she's due on and although your daughter is only 8 if I think about it that is roughly the time my daughter started getting headaches.  Good luck with your daughter.  (Loz's partner Caz)

  6. This is just a guess, but it could be some kind of newly-developed food allergy. My brother is allergic to milk and he will get migraines when he drinks it.

  7. Migraines don't always cause nausea as I am sure you know. If the medication isn't working get the doc to presribe a new kind. It's almost surely migraine but if you are like me that little doubt will fester away and you might want to ask for a brain scan for your benefit. I presume you have had her eyes tested...just a thought
